Daily topic...

i'm looking for daily post topic... I found some blog that keep up with something's daily, like teh Nisa with crane-origami photos... or kang Muy that start posting one picture everyday...

Doing this un-ordinary things can keep up our daily spirit and push us to find anything interesting in our daily routine. Once I heard this kind of idea at a seminar with Yoris Sebastian. The problem is... I can't decide what kind of topic I want to commit, any suggestion???

Kembali ke pojok : perang bubat dan dilarang nikah

Saya baru saja membaca satu posting di blog Serba Sejarah, sedikit komentar dan pengantar tentang sejarah Perang Bubat. Bukan postingan baru, tapi menarik perhatian saya. Seperti diketahui bahwa peristiwa bubat menjadi satu tonggak fundamental perubahan hubungan masyarakat sunda dengan jawa, khususnya terkait pernikahan.

Saya jadi teringat beberapa cerita teman yang pacaran backstreet gara-gara yang satu sunda dan yang satu lagi jawa. Atau yang lamarannya ditolak ortu sang kekasih karena kasus yang sama. Waktu mendengar ceritanya saya cuman komentar, "weleh... weleh... masih ada ya yang begituan". Buat saya sendiri atau mungkin keluarga saya, yang notabene sunda murni secara turun-temurun, hal ini sudah tak dipikirkan lagi. Apalagi semenjak salah seorang bibi saya menikah dengan orang jawa, gak ada yang aneh tuh.... jadi kami sudah tak terlalu ambil pusing lagi.

Yah, sedikit banyak saya masih merasa bingung ketika ada orang yang masih meributkan perbedaan ini, walau sebenernya kembali ke keyakinan setiap orangnya lagi dan saya tetap harus menghormatinya (tapi tetep aja pengen komentar :D). Toh sekarang suku bangsa sudah sangat bercampur. Saya punya teman yang punya nama Gusti Ayu tapi menulis suku bangsanya Sunda (kekekeke... iya gak yu??? :D) atau kalau mau ditilik beberapa pupuhu LSS justru orang jawa (walau ngomongnya sunda banget, bisa ngomong bilingual lah...). Atau beberapa orang sunda yang lebih fasih bahasa Jawa. Yah... apapun sukunya masih Indonesia kan??? atau lebih luasnya, masih manusia kan???

Ya gitu deh... bahasan perang bubat itu pasti nyindir ke pernikahan lintas suku ini. hmmm... saya jadi berpikir, sampai kapan luka hati di masyarakat sunda akibat peristiwa ini akan sembuh??? Dan butuh berapa lama untuk satu nilai kultural seperti ini akan hilang (oops... yg ini punya arti ganda). Jadi ingat cerita teman saya Bayu yang dulu menjabat Ketua bidang Seni dan Budaya di LSS saat kami menjadi pengurus. Dia satu waktu diundang untuk mengisi kuliah mengenai budaya sunda dan ada peserta kuliah yang bertanya mengenai adanya aturan adat tak resmi yang melarang orang sunda dan orang jawa menikah, saat itu bayu menjawab:

"itu mungkin efek dari perang bubat dulu, tapi santai kok, kalo saya gak keberatan nikah ama siapa aja".

Wehehehehe... diluar kenyataan bahwa dia narsis luarbiasa tapi ya sebenernya itu intinya, balik lagi ke setiap orangnya, keberatan atau enggak?!?! Kalau udah niat mah pasti 'gunung kan kudaki, lautan kan kusebrangi' deh... hahahhaa... lebaaaaayyyyy!

Golden Globe 2010!

The winner list is out!

As expected, Avatar won Best Motion Picture - Drama and Best Director for James Cameron, it will be a huge scandal if they don't win. I love the winner line up, there's Sandra Bullock for The Blind Side, Robert Downey Jr. , Meryl Streep and of course the incredible Christoph Waltz for his great performance in Inglourious Basterds. Up won Best Animated feature film and Best Original Score. Too bad 'I see you' didn't get the Best Original Song, but it's okay...

Anomali on Friday Night

Just another friday night with friends, after office hour hang out to Anomali at Senopati, quality talk-quality time, and a cup of latte.

This week maybe the busiest week in my ten-months-work and on the other hand, it also the most interesting week. The hectic schedule makes me has no time to contact my friend via IM, not even Ayu, Zakki or Ditha. And now, sitting around a coffee table at the corner of cozy coffeeshop and talk about everything. From harmless thing to the very sensitive one, from hang out plan to backpacking plan, from joke to work... It's very refreshing!

It just feels nice to have your friend gather around you, share their thoughts and experiences, give me more knowledge easily than any book I've read. I just love being around them. And after this interestingly-tiring week, finally I feel calm and relax again... It's nice to have really good friends!
