paper crane
I found this interesting blog from my friend's ym-status this afternoon. This is cool! The guy's name is Robert Casumbal. He commit to fold paper crane every single day in 2009 and take picture of it. The last post is yesterday, with the picture of the 671th, 672nd, and 673rd crane over a yellow flower (I don't know the name of the flower ).

Do you know how it feels like? when you have to say something is true, but deep down in your heart you know for sure that it is totally wrong!
I know it, and I tell you it is sucks! It feels like I turn into a dirty-disgusting-bug that has to be killed immediately or will cause a serious desease for other people. I hate it!
Now, in my bed, before I sleep, I replay that moment in my head then I remember that one speech at tarawih titled "tanda-tanda orang munafik"... I feel like one and I begin to hate myself!

Sang Pemimpi
Here a news, quite surprising news...
Remember the movie Laskar Pelangi? the first installment of Laskar Pelangi tetralogy by Andrea Hirata. The success of the book grab attention of duo Mira Lesmana and Riri Riza, then they made it to the big screen at 2008 and it is a huge comercial success. This year, Miles will come again with the second installment of the tetralogy, Sang Pemimpi. And what's so surprising about it?
I know that Miles will make Sang Pemimpi the movie for long time, the one that surprising me is the line of cast. Anything new? Yes, because I found the name Ariel Peterpan there. Yes, that Ariel and that Peterpan, it is 'that' Ariel Peterpan!
Quite shocking news for me, because despite all of his popularity and great songs he made (yes, great songs, i'm a fan of Peterpan songs not the gossip around them though), Ariel never act before. So why Miles agree to take him to the production? with the budget of 11 billion rupiahs they can hire anyone else, can't they? other more professional actor maybe. And from all that sinetron star maybe they can find one that will suit the role. I don't know, one for sure, Mira Lesmana make a clear statement that Ariel pass the casting process, makes me want to ask what kind of casting it was.
Well, we'll see how it turn out when the movie hit theater at 17 December 2009. I hope it's the good one. It's 11 billion rupiahs for God sake... imagine how many school we can rebuild with that much money. But maybe, like the book, the movie try to make bigger result than that 11 billion budget with great investation through humanity, try to knock every single soul of Indonesian to fight for their dream and never give up. I thought it was the best value I got from the book. We'll see...
NB: My friend told me that it was an old news... but it is my blog, and it is new for me, and I want to write it, so... no blame, no protest of timing!

Rektor Kita
Finally, Mr. Djoko Santoso will retire from his position as Rektor ITB, and I really hope it doesn't mean he will be the next Menristek, it will be as ridiculous as assign Roy Suryo as Menkominfo!
The nominee for the next rektor has been announced. You can find the complete list of nominee here.

I'm in the urge to write something...
Just read Raditya Dika's blog for the first time, never be a fan of him and honestly, I don't read or watch Kambing Jantan (not that I have the intention too). And what makes me want to read his blog? the asnwer is as simply as twitter.
And you know, the first post I read which is the latest post he wrote, makes me smile. I like it! He can put the word 'love' in something as funny as watching Mr.Bean on TV and still feels as intense as 'you jump, I jump' in Titanic. He puts all barudak LSS to shame (tah barudak, ari ngagombal teh rada alus kek, lainna mengucapkan sesuatu yang cuman bisa bikin gw komentar: 'hadah...').
*piss ah* v(^_^)v
"falling in love with you is like prasmanan tanpa pernah terpuaskan. I can only sum it up: I. Can’t. Get. Enough. Of. You."

Happy Ramadhan everyone...
First Ramadhan since I moved to Jakarta, and first Ramadhan without my family... quite sad :(
Yesterday I had tarawih at masjid Al-Mughni near my kos. Is it any different with tarawih in Bandung? yes, it is! Not in the rules of the pray, but in the condition. It's damn hot in Jakarta, even at night! I have to take off my jacket and still sweating all over my shirt. In Bandung, I have to wear wool jacket at tarawih to prevent myself from getting cold.
Ck...ck...ck... quite a challenge to keep ramadhan spirit in Jakarta. Fight! Fight! Fight!

It's been awhile since the last time I posted something in this blog, and this is my only blog that still active. I lost my passion in writing recently, not because there's no subject to write, on contrary... there's so much things I want to write... and it confuses me -_-
But something knock on my writing-soul this afternoon, I found Alaya Setya's blog active again! She's my favourite blogger, not to mention she's my inspiration in blogging and the one who makes me interesting in travelling and appreciating photography :)
So, here I am... trying to write something that not really matter... but wait a minute... every single step of improvement is matter! and this not-so-important-writing is part of that improvement.
One thing, this template of my blog start to annoy me, and it's been used for so long... I have to get a new one. Just search the instant one, programming never be my strong point. Hope to find the interesting one :)
Ok, good bye... and Happy Ramadhan everyone! First Ramadhan in Jakarta, first Ramadhan alone, and first Ramadhan after I started work! It gonna be interesting :)

Change...
Larry Kelson : honey... as long as people can change, the world can change
Lucy Kelson : what if people can't change?
Larry Kelson : hmmm...let me put it this way... here I am, eating a piece of cheesecake made of soy and I hate it... but I eat it.
