Tangled

- a little post before I sleep-

When the last time you watch Disney animated classic that based on fairy tale? If you watch The Princess and the Frog, then that might be your recent. But I didn't watch that, then the last time maybe... Aladdin! Yeah, Aladdin! It's 90's movie and maybe the only Disney animated classic fairy tale that I like.

You know, I don't really into fairy tale. I'm into fable, like indonesian traditional story of Si Kancil (The Rabbit) simply because it is smart. But princess story? with prince charming? (please do remember your time with Shrek, we all know th
at prince charming is no more than a thugs!) I don't know, for me it's cheap! I like Aladdin for simple reason : first, Aladdin is not a prince and second, Jasmin has a tiger as a pet :D

So today, I watched Rapunzel - a tangled tale. It based on a traditional fairy tale of Rapunzel from Germany. And I think I like this movie, why? simple reasons: first, Eugene is not a prince and second, Rapunzel has a fry-pan as weapon. Seriously, how many girl bring pan everywhere as weapon? She's quite creative for that one.

The movie is all you can hope from a Disney animated classic, musical. They sing almost anytime and anywhere (and anyone), even the bandits sings. For you who miss this Disney classic theme, then you would like this movie. I feel a little nostalgic too, like back to the 90's with Aladdin, Beauty and The Beast and Lion King. The song itself not sound very special. I do recognize the duo part and the Rapunzel's song, but what really caught my ear is the closing song. I don't know who sings it, I wikipied it and found the name Grace Potter. Never heard of her... should google more.

So, that's all! Hehehe... not so creative for a review right... but please forgives me, it's all because I don't really into fairy tale and I'm quite sleepy... bubye.... :D

Boutiques : computer meet fashion, happy ending?

"fashion comes and go, but style is forever" - Yves St. Laurent

That is one of the most wellknown quote in fashion industry, me myself, heard it everytime I watched Style Star on E! channel. "style is forever", maybe that part of the quote that inspired these bunch of 'computer nerd' and 'fashion nerd' from Google to collaborate in creating an online personalized fashion shop called Boutiques.com. Because Internet can immortalize almost everything. (-hey, I do not know that they hired fashion nerd too, I think the word 'fashion' does not match with 'nerd'-no offense ^_^)

Do you know that when you're overseas a single message sent and received through your Blackberry messenger cost you Rp. 6500???

And do you know that a single window Blackberry messenger conversation has at least 3 lines of message??? maybe like...
A : hey, I'm at singapore right now...
B : oh really? buy me some keychains then :D
A : ok, no problem :)

And do you know that 1 singapore simple keychain cost you SGD$2 (~Rp.15.000) at the very least but that goddamn conversation cost you Rp. 19.500???

And what happen when you has 10-15 BB messenger conversation daily, with at least 20 line messages and you are overseas for 3 days??? Nothing happens until you get your phone bill at the end of the month...

And all of that will happens if you forget to turn off your data service or in my case there are some goddamn error in the system, so instead of registered in free blackberry international roaming package, the system read you as just stupid-soon-to-be-broke international roaming subscriber who turn on her data service when she's overseas, like me! Kembali ke pojok : Meet cute???

(pic: at Bakoel Koffie - Bellagio Mega Kuningan)

Pojokan itu tidak kosong. Saras menghela nafas kesal di pintu Caffeine for Life, memandang pojok favoritnya yang sekarang diduduki orang lain. Dengan muka agak ditekuk dia mendekati konter, disambut cengiran Komo si barista.

“abis digusur ya mbak?” sapa Komo.
